Repair – Sales Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: July 21, 2026
These Repair & Sales Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to repair services, mobile repair appointments, in-shop services, product sales, used or refurbished device sales, accessory sales, parts sales, trade-ins, buybacks, quotes, estimates, diagnostics, and other services provided by Oncall Repairs LLC dba OnCall Mobile Repairs (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting a quote, scheduling an appointment, dropping off a device, authorizing a repair, purchasing a product, selling or trading in a device, using our website, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide mobile and in-shop repair services, device diagnostics, product sales, accessory sales, parts sales, used or refurbished device sales, and related electronic device services. Repair services may include diagnostics, screen replacement, battery replacement, charging port repair, camera repair, back glass repair, software troubleshooting, water damage inspection, and other device-related services.
Not all repairs, products, parts, or services are available for every device. Service and product availability depends on device model, part availability, product condition, device condition, technician assessment, inventory, and other factors.
These Terms begin applying when you request a quote, schedule an appointment, submit a device for inspection or repair, authorize service, purchase a product, sell or trade in a device, or otherwise use our services. These Terms continue to apply until the applicable service, repair, sale, return, warranty issue, pickup, payment, or other related matter is completed.
2. Independent Repair Provider Notice
Unless we specifically state otherwise in writing, Oncall Repairs LLC dba OnCall Mobile Repairs is an independent repair provider and is not an authorized repair provider for Apple, Samsung, Google, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, or any other device manufacturer.
Repairs performed by an independent repair provider may affect the terms of your manufacturer warranty, insurance plan, carrier protection plan, or service plan. You may wish to review your manufacturer warranty, insurance coverage, or service agreement before authorizing a repair.
We may use new, aftermarket, refurbished, used, pulled, or non-manufacturer parts depending on the repair, part availability, customer preference, and price quoted. If a part is used, refurbished, aftermarket, pulled, or not supplied by the original manufacturer, we may disclose that information on the estimate, invoice, repair authorization, receipt, or other written communication.
3. Estimates and Repair Authorization
We will provide an estimate before performing paid repair work. Estimates may include parts, labor, diagnostic fees, service call fees, mobile service fees, taxes, duties, and any other applicable charges.
No repair work will be performed without customer authorization. Authorization may be provided in writing, electronically, by text message, by email, by phone, through an online form, through a repair authorization form, or in person.
If additional issues are discovered after the repair begins, we will request your approval before performing additional paid work or installing additional parts that would increase the quoted price.
Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Some devices may have hidden damage, prior repair issues, liquid damage, board-level damage, software problems, manufacturer restrictions, or other issues that are not visible until the device is opened, tested, or repaired.
Estimates are not a guarantee that the device can be repaired. We reserve the right to decline a repair if the device is unsafe, severely damaged, previously modified, missing parts, locked, liquid damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for repair.
4. Diagnostic Fees
Standard initial diagnostics are free and carry no obligation to proceed with a repair. A fee may apply only for advanced diagnostics, extensive disassembly, board-level testing, data-recovery evaluation, or another service specifically identified as paid. Any such fee will be disclosed and approved before the paid diagnostic service begins.
Diagnostic fees may be non-refundable, even if you decide not to proceed with the repair, unless we state otherwise in writing.
A diagnostic does not guarantee that the device can be repaired, that all problems can be identified, or that no additional issues will appear after the device is opened, powered on, repaired, or tested.
If we are unable to repair the device, if no fault is found, if the issue cannot be reproduced, or if you do not approve the repair estimate, we may return the device unrepaired and may charge any disclosed diagnostic, inspection, mobile service, or service call fee.
5. Mobile Service Appointments
For mobile repair service, you are responsible for providing a safe, accessible, clean, and appropriate service location. We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule service if the location is unsafe, inaccessible, restricted, poorly lit, unsanitary, exposed to weather, or unsuitable for repair work.
Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, part availability, previous appointments, customer delays, parking issues, access restrictions, or other factors outside our control.
A mobile service fee, cancellation fee, or no-show fee may apply if you cancel late, are unavailable at the scheduled time, provide an incorrect address, fail to respond when the technician arrives, or do not have the device ready for service. Any such fee will be disclosed before it is charged.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Before giving us your device for repair, you are responsible for:
- Backing up your device data
- Removing sensitive personal information when possible
- Removing SIM cards, memory cards, cases, and accessories not needed for the repair
- Disabling Find My iPhone, Find My Device, activation locks, passcodes, or account locks when necessary for testing
- Providing accurate information about the device condition, prior repairs, liquid damage, drops, impact damage, and reported issues
- Knowing your Apple ID, Google account, Samsung account, passcode, carrier account, or other login credentials if needed after repair
We are not responsible for delays, incomplete testing, unsuccessful repairs, or limited functionality caused by locked devices, missing passwords, account locks, activation locks, inaccessible software, missing customer information, or incorrect customer information.
7. Device Data and Data Loss
Devices may contain personal photos, videos, messages, contacts, apps, files, passwords, business information, and other private information. We do not intentionally access, view, copy, transfer, or use customer data except when reasonably necessary to diagnose, repair, or test the device with your permission.
Repair work may involve risk of data loss, especially if the device has liquid damage, storage damage, board-level issues, software problems, power issues, prior repair damage, failed components, or physical damage.
You are responsible for backing up your device before repair. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss of data, photos, videos, contacts, messages, apps, software, accounts, passwords, business information, or other digital content.
8. Device Condition and Hidden Damage
Some devices may have pre-existing damage that is not visible before repair, including liquid damage, frame damage, battery swelling, board damage, connector damage, prior repair damage, stripped screws, aftermarket parts, missing shields, missing screws, missing brackets, damaged flex cables, or internal component damage.
Opening or repairing a damaged device can sometimes reveal or worsen pre-existing issues. We are not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing damage, liquid damage, prior repairs, customer misuse, manufacturer defects, hidden internal problems, or damage unrelated to the specific repair performed by us.
9. Liquid Damage
Liquid damage repairs are not guaranteed. Devices with liquid damage may work temporarily and later fail due to corrosion, short circuits, board damage, connector damage, or component failure.
We may attempt cleaning, inspection, or part replacement, but we cannot guarantee permanent recovery, data recovery, or long-term functionality for liquid-damaged devices.
10. Parts
Replacement parts may vary in availability, quality, brand, source, color match, brightness, touch sensitivity, battery capacity, and compatibility. We may use original, premium aftermarket, aftermarket, refurbished, pulled, used, or non-manufacturer parts depending on the repair and what is disclosed or agreed to.
Some manufacturer features may be affected by repair or part replacement, including but not limited to True Tone, Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint sensors, water resistance, battery health messages, camera messages, display messages, serial pairing features, biometric functions, or other device-specific features.
We do not guarantee that a repaired device will retain all original manufacturer features, manufacturer messages, water resistance, or manufacturer warranty eligibility after repair.
11. Customer-Provided Parts
If we agree to install a customer-provided part, we do not warranty the part itself. Customer-provided parts may be defective, incompatible, used, counterfeit, damaged, poor quality, incorrect, or unsafe.
For customer-provided parts, any warranty is limited to our workmanship only, if we agree in writing. We are not responsible for defects, failure, incompatibility, feature limitations, or damage caused by customer-provided parts.
If a customer-provided part fails, is defective, or damages the device, you are responsible for any additional parts, labor, diagnostic fees, or service charges needed to correct the issue, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
12. 90-Day Limited Repair Warranty
We offer a 90-Day Limited Repair Warranty on eligible repairs. This limited warranty covers defects in the replacement part installed by us and defects in our repair workmanship for the specific repair performed.
The warranty period begins on the date the repair is completed and lasts for 90 days, unless a different warranty period is stated in writing on your invoice, receipt, estimate, or repair authorization.
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage after repair
- Cracked screens, broken glass, bent frames, drops, impacts, or pressure damage
- Liquid damage, corrosion, moisture exposure, or water resistance issues
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper charging, or improper storage
- Software issues, operating system updates, viruses, malware, account locks, forgotten passwords, or carrier account problems
- Pre-existing issues unrelated to the repair performed
- Board-level damage or component failure unrelated to the repaired part
- Damage caused by third-party repairs or opening the device after our repair
- Customer-provided parts
- Normal wear and tear, battery aging, battery capacity changes, or consumable parts beyond a defect in the installed part
- Manufacturer warnings, part pairing notices, or feature limitations caused by manufacturer software restrictions
- Any issue that cannot be reproduced during inspection
If the device is opened or serviced by another repair shop, technician, third party, or the customer after our repair, the 90-Day Limited Repair Warranty may be void for the repaired part and any related components. For example, if we replace a screen and another party later opens the device for a battery replacement, charging port repair, inspection, or any other service, any display, touch, connector, seal, bracket, flex cable, or related issue may not be covered if we cannot confirm that the issue was caused by our part or workmanship.
If a covered issue occurs during the 90-day warranty period, we may inspect the device and, at our discretion, repair the issue, replace the defective part, provide store credit, or offer another reasonable solution. Warranty service does not extend or restart the original warranty period unless required by law or stated in writing.
13. No Warranty on Unrelated Issues
A repair warranty applies only to the specific repair we performed. For example, if we replace a screen, the warranty applies to the installed screen and related workmanship, but it does not cover the battery, camera, charging port, motherboard, software, speaker, microphone, liquid damage, or unrelated device issues.
Repairing one issue does not guarantee that the entire device is free from other problems.
Warranty coverage may be denied if the device has been opened, modified, repaired, or serviced by anyone else after our repair and we cannot reasonably verify that the issue is related to our original repair or replacement part.
14. Water Resistance
Many devices are originally designed with some level of water resistance. After a device has been opened, damaged, repaired, or previously repaired, water resistance may be reduced or lost.
We do not guarantee that any device will be water resistant or waterproof after repair, even if adhesive, seals, or gaskets are replaced.
15. Sale of Devices, Parts, and Accessories
In addition to repair services, Oncall Repairs LLC dba OnCall Mobile Repairs may sell devices, replacement parts, accessories, cases, chargers, cables, screen protectors, refurbished devices, used devices, open-box items, and other related products.
Product availability, pricing, condition, color, storage capacity, compatibility, and included accessories may vary. We reserve the right to change prices, correct errors, cancel unavailable items, limit quantities, or refuse a sale where permitted by law.
Product descriptions, photos, and website information are for general informational purposes only and may not reflect exact condition, packaging, accessories, compatibility, or availability.
16. Condition of Products
Products may be new, used, refurbished, pre-owned, open-box, aftermarket, pulled, or non-manufacturer products. The condition of each product will be described at the time of sale when applicable.
Used and refurbished devices may show signs of prior use, including scratches, dents, cosmetic wear, battery wear, prior repairs, replacement parts, or manufacturer service messages. Cosmetic condition does not guarantee internal condition, battery health, water resistance, or future performance.
Unless specifically stated in writing, cosmetic wear that is visible or disclosed at the time of sale is not considered a defect.
17. Used and Refurbished Device Sales
Used and refurbished devices are inspected and tested to the best of our ability before sale. Testing may include basic functions such as power, charging, display, touch, cameras, speakers, microphones, buttons, Wi-Fi, cellular, and general operation.
However, used and refurbished devices are not new devices. We do not guarantee that a used or refurbished device will have original manufacturer parts, original battery capacity, original water resistance, original accessories, original packaging, or eligibility for manufacturer warranty service.
Unless specifically stated in writing, used and refurbished devices are not certified by the original manufacturer and are not sold as manufacturer-certified refurbished products.
18. Carrier, Network, and Compatibility
For phones, tablets, watches, or cellular devices, carrier compatibility may depend on the device model, network bands, SIM/eSIM support, carrier policies, account status, blacklist status, financing status, activation policy, software version, region, and other factors outside our control.
We may provide general compatibility information when available, but you are responsible for confirming that a device will work with your carrier, plan, SIM card, eSIM, account, region, and intended use before purchase.
Unless we specifically guarantee carrier compatibility in writing, we do not guarantee that a device will activate or work with every carrier, network, SIM, eSIM, or service plan.
19. Activation Lock, Accounts, and Security Locks
Devices sold by us are intended to be free of known activation locks at the time of sale. However, you are responsible for setting up your own Apple ID, Google account, Samsung account, carrier account, passcode, and other login credentials after purchase.
We are not responsible for issues caused by your own account lock, forgotten password, failed login, carrier account problem, SIM/eSIM issue, software update, third-party account restriction, or misuse after purchase.
20. 30-Day Limited Sales Warranty
Unless a different warranty is stated in writing at the time of sale, eligible used or refurbished device sales may include a 30-Day Limited Sales Warranty covering hardware defects that prevent the device from functioning as represented at the time of sale.
This limited sales warranty begins on the date the product is delivered to you or picked up by you, whichever applies.
This limited sales warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage after purchase
- Cracked screens, broken glass, bent frames, drops, impacts, pressure damage, or abuse
- Liquid damage, moisture exposure, corrosion, or water resistance issues
- Battery aging, normal battery wear, or battery capacity expectations unless specifically guaranteed in writing
- Software issues, updates, viruses, malware, account locks, forgotten passwords, or carrier account problems
- SIM, eSIM, carrier activation, network compatibility, or service plan issues unless specifically guaranteed in writing
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, discoloration, or cosmetic condition already visible or disclosed at sale
- Damage caused by third-party repair, opening the device, modification, misuse, neglect, or improper charging
- Accessories, chargers, cables, cases, screen protectors, or consumable items unless defective at the time of purchase
- Manufacturer warnings, part pairing notices, or feature limitations caused by manufacturer software restrictions
- Any issue that cannot be reproduced during inspection
If a covered issue occurs during the warranty period, we may inspect the product and, at our discretion, repair the product, replace the product with a reasonably similar item, provide store credit, or provide another reasonable solution. Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law or approved by us in writing.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights you may have under applicable law.
21. Accessories, Parts, and Final Sale Items
Accessories, cases, chargers, cables, screen protectors, special-order parts, installed parts, opened items, clearance items, discounted items, and customized items may be final sale unless defective at the time of purchase or unless otherwise required by law.
Screen protectors, cases, and other accessories that have been installed, opened, used, damaged, or customized may not be eligible for return or exchange.
Special-order parts or products may require a deposit. Deposits may be non-refundable once the item has been ordered, reserved, prepared, or purchased for you, unless we state otherwise in writing or unless required by law.
22. Return and Exchange Policy
Our return and exchange policy may vary depending on the item sold. Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Repair services are not refundable after the repair is completed, except as required by law or approved by us in writing.
- Used and refurbished device sales are final except for covered issues under the applicable limited sales warranty.
- Accessories and parts may be final sale once opened, installed, used, damaged, or customized.
- Special-order items are final sale unless defective or unless otherwise required by law.
- Original receipt or proof of purchase may be required for any warranty, return, exchange, refund, or store credit request.
Any return or exchange request must be made within the applicable warranty or return period. Returned items must include all included accessories, packaging, and components unless we agree otherwise.
We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges for items that are damaged, missing parts, altered, opened, installed, used, activation locked, account locked, or not in the same condition as sold, unless required by law.
23. Trade-Ins, Buybacks, and Customer-Sold Devices
If we offer trade-in or buyback services, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the device or have full authority to sell or trade it. You also confirm that the device is not stolen, lost, financed without disclosure, blacklisted, activation locked, reported missing, or subject to any third-party claim.
You are responsible for removing your personal data, SIM card, memory card, accounts, passcodes, Apple ID, Google account, Samsung account, and activation locks before selling or trading in a device.
Trade-in or buyback quotes may change after inspection if the device condition, model, storage, carrier status, lock status, blacklist status, repair history, functionality, battery health, or cosmetic condition is different from what was originally represented.
We reserve the right to refuse any trade-in or buyback transaction for any reason permitted by law.
24. Payment
Payment is due when the repair is completed, when a product is purchased, or when another service is provided, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may accept cash, card, digital payments, or other payment methods at our discretion.
We may use Square or another third-party payment processor to process payments. You are responsible for all approved charges, product prices, repair charges, taxes, duties, service fees, mobile service fees, diagnostic fees, shipping fees if applicable, special-order charges, deposits, and any other charges disclosed before service or purchase.
Returned payments, chargebacks, disputed payments, unpaid balances, or payment reversals may result in additional collection costs, recovery costs, refusal of future service, cancellation of warranty coverage where permitted by law, or other remedies available to us to the extent permitted by law.
25. Deposits, Special Orders, and Prepayments
We may require a deposit, prepayment, or partial payment for certain repairs, mobile service appointments, special-order parts, special-order products, used or refurbished device holds, product holds, custom requests, high-value items, or services requiring advance preparation.
Unless we state otherwise in writing, deposits, prepayments, and special-order payments are non-refundable once the part, product, appointment slot, device hold, service slot, or service has been reserved, ordered, prepared, or purchased for you.
A non-refundable deposit may be applied toward the final repair price, product price, service fee, order balance, or remaining amount due, unless we state otherwise in writing.
If you cancel, fail to appear, provide incorrect information, fail to provide access to the device, fail to unlock the device when needed, decline the repair after parts have been ordered, fail to complete the purchase, or do not complete the transaction, your deposit may be forfeited to cover parts, labor, scheduling, travel, administrative time, restocking, supplier fees, processing fees, lost appointment time, or other costs.
Special-order parts and products are ordered specifically for your device, repair, or request. Special-order deposits and payments are non-refundable once the order has been placed, unless required by law or unless we approve a refund in writing.
If we are unable to provide the part, product, repair, or service due to reasons within our control, we may, at our discretion and where appropriate, offer a refund of the deposit, apply the deposit as store credit, apply it toward another repair or product, or offer another reasonable solution.
Any remaining balance is due when the repair is completed, when the product is ready for pickup or delivery, or when the service is provided, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
26. Refunds
Refunds are not guaranteed once a repair has been completed, a product has been delivered, a product has been picked up, an item has been opened or installed, a special-order item has been ordered, a deposit has become non-refundable, or a service has been provided, unless required by law or approved by us in writing.
If there is a warranty issue with an eligible repair or product, we generally require the opportunity to inspect the device or product and attempt a reasonable solution before any refund is considered. A reasonable solution may include repair, replacement, exchange, store credit, applying the amount toward another service, or another remedy approved by us.
Original receipt, invoice, repair record, or proof of purchase may be required for any refund, warranty, exchange, return, store credit, or deposit-related request.
27. Right to Hold Device or Product Until Payment
To the extent permitted by law, we may retain possession of a device, product, part, accessory, or other item in our possession until all approved charges, repair charges, diagnostic fees, service fees, mobile service fees, storage fees, special-order charges, deposits, taxes, duties, and other amounts owed are paid in full.
Failure to pay may delay return of the device or product and may result in additional storage, collection, or recovery actions where permitted by law.
28. Abandoned Devices
You are responsible for picking up your device after repair, diagnostic service, or notification that the device is ready.
If a device is not picked up within a reasonable time after we notify you, storage fees may apply where permitted by law. If a device remains unclaimed for an extended period, we may treat it as abandoned and handle it according to applicable law.
We may attempt to contact you using the phone number, email address, or other contact information you provided. You are responsible for keeping your contact information accurate and responding to pickup notices.
29. Third-Party Service Providers and Subcontractors
We may use third-party service providers, subcontractors, specialized repair centers, shipping providers, suppliers, or other business partners to help provide certain repairs, diagnostics, parts, products, or services.
This may include specialized services such as board-level repair, microsoldering, data recovery, back glass repair, advanced diagnostics, or other services that may not be performed directly by us.
By authorizing service, you agree that we may use reasonable third-party providers when needed to complete or support the service. We are not responsible for delays, part shortages, shipping delays, or third-party service limitations outside our reasonable control.
30. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if we believe a repair, sale, trade-in, buyback, appointment, or transaction is unsafe, illegal, impossible, high-risk, outside our service scope, likely to cause further damage, connected to stolen property, connected to fraud, or connected to harassment, abuse, threats, or unsafe behavior.
31. Stolen Devices and Ownership
By requesting service, purchasing a device, selling a device, or trading in a device, you confirm that you own the device or are authorized by the owner to complete the transaction.
We may refuse service, sale, trade-in, or buyback if we suspect a device is stolen, locked to another person’s account, reported lost, blacklisted, financed without disclosure, or connected to fraudulent activity.
32. Delays and Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays, failure to perform, or inability to complete a repair, sale, appointment, order, or service caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Such events may include traffic, weather, accidents, illness, emergencies, supplier delays, shipping delays, part shortages, manufacturer restrictions, software issues, power outages, internet outages, payment processor issues, labor shortages, natural disasters, government actions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
33. Proof of Purchase and Warranty Claims
Original receipt, invoice, repair record, proof of purchase, or other reasonable proof may be required for any warranty claim, return, exchange, refund, store credit, deposit-related request, or service request.
Warranty coverage may be denied if we cannot verify the original repair, product sale, warranty period, device condition, product condition, or customer information.
34. Notice of Claims
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to notify us in writing of any claim, dispute, warranty issue, defect, damage, missing item, billing issue, or service-related concern as soon as reasonably possible after you discover the issue.
Failure to notify us within a reasonable time may limit our ability to inspect the device or product, verify the issue, provide warranty service, or offer a remedy. We may deny claims where delay, continued use, third-party repair, modification, damage, missing evidence, or lack of proof prevents us from reasonably evaluating the issue.
35. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any repair, service, device, product, appointment, sale, trade-in, buyback, or claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of use, lost profits, lost business, lost communications, lost photos, lost files, device downtime, replacement device costs, carrier charges, account issues, or other losses related to your device, product, repair, purchase, or service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
36. No Other Representations or Warranties
Except for warranties expressly provided in writing by us or rights that cannot be limited by law, all services, repairs, products, used devices, refurbished devices, parts, accessories, diagnostics, estimates, and information are provided without any additional representations or warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not guarantee that a device can be repaired, that a repair will restore the device to new condition, that a product will meet every customer expectation, that a used or refurbished device will perform like a new device, or that a repair or product will remain free from unrelated issues after service or sale.
37. Website Information
Information on our website is provided for general informational purposes only. Prices, services, part availability, product availability, appointment availability, warranty terms, return terms, and promotions may change without notice.
Website content does not guarantee that a repair is available, that a part is in stock, that a product is available, that a price is current, or that a device can be repaired.

41. Severability
